Sammys World Greatest Pizza - Calgary

Ordered and the delivery took hours. It cost dollars for pizzas. There were massive amounts of mushrooms on my ham and pineapple pizza, wasn't asked for and kind of strange? The taste wasn't good, to say the least. The pizza itself was...overgreased to the point of seeping through the box and was wet and dripping. I felt sick after eating a piece. Definitely would not recommend, probably the worts pizza I've ever eaten.

We stopped here on a whim, dinner time, on Sat night. We were hoping for a slice or two, but discovered slices are available weekdays only. It was too late to retreat, the aroma of pizza was overwhelming, so we placed an order. We were...told it would be a min wait, but from past experiences elsewhere, we sat down expecting something double that. I loved watching the counter staff juggle phone orders with pickups, direct the stream of various delivery people both incoming and outgoing, all the while maintaining the pop cooler. The kitchen was in harmony, no wasted steps, efficiency plus. We got our pizza within the stated time, plus the chef showed concern when he saw me rise from my chair bracing myself with my cane. As busy as they were, he was prepared to carry his creation (my pizza) to my car. Very thoughtful. Much appreciated. Pizza was cooked perfectly, cheese sprinkled on the edge like I like it, and loads of mushrooms. Not too fussy about the sauce however, but that remains a personal choice. Well worth the wait. I will return, and maybe just drop by last minute so I might relive the organized chaos of a popular pizza parlour on Saturday night during their busiest time.

The Sammy's Special is the best and the gluten free options are great we have had no issues with GF!

We order once a month from Sammy’s Pizza, it is consistently really good. Quality toppings and lots of it! Highly recommend!

Just ordered the Vegetarian Nightmare with fresh tomatoes on top. Wow...I do believe the best pie ever. I highly recommend this place, you will or be disappointed
