Bidrage med feedbackFirst of all, this restaurant seems to specialize in sushi, which we don't eat, so take this review for what it's worth. We ordered the gyoza, yam tempura, chicken yakisoba and udon beef. All 4 dishes were average quality...not bad, but not great. The restaurant was somewhat busy, probably about 60% to capacity, and it took 30 minutes to receive our order, which came all at once. 30 minutes isn't the end of the world, but it's a long time for 4 small items. There are plenty of similar restaurants nearby that knock out large meals in 10 minutes. The interior was nice and clean, with neutral colours. It has a contemporary diner feel. If you're looking for good service, look elsewhere. The waitress only came to our table once during that 30 minute period, to tell us it would be "2 more minutes". 10 minutes later we had our food. We were not given any water, and finished plates remained on our table throughout the meal.Overall, we do not have any plans to return. It's a shame their execution is so poor, because the menu itself has a variety of well priced options.
Delicious food, quick , efficient service. We enjoyed the Dynamite Rolls, Rock scallops, pan fried shrimp dumplings and the deep fried shrimp dumplings. Prompt service. In and out in less than 45 minutes. It was not a busy day, and e arrived a bit before noon. I would return and try other items on the menu.
This was the first time we have been back here since the menu changed. We had been here since the renovation so the change of menu obviously came after that. Although my husband thought the sushi was good I found the lunch special I usually ordered -beef teriyaki tempura combo- not only tasted all together different, there was barely any beef. The egg drop soup is gone- I am not a fan of Miso soup- but at least the tempura was still good. The price is higher and I personally felt it wasn't worth the increase.
Had a free rose because it was Valentine's Day. Love boat was huge, good for 3 people if not a big eater. Deep fried squid was crunchy, better than Kinjo. Spider roll was good size. Pricing wise, it was cheap in general with the given big portion. Service was good.
This restaurant looks nice and beautiful but the food wasn't that good. My friends and I were really disappointed. Sushi rice wasn't cook and season very well. Stir fry soba noodle was dry. Seaweed salad was too vinegary. The only thing we liked there was green tea ice cream.
