Papa John's Pizza - Calgary

Got two hairs in my pizza and when I asked, I hung up! Very inappropriate.

Papa John is cheap and edible. I personally am not a fan of pizza. I have ordered many times because my daughter likes it and it is one of the cheaper places to get pizza. I would say that 3/4 of the time that there is something wrong that it is not missing to raw dough to totally wrong pizza. Our latest order that I made for good and my pizzas were not well done at all. There were gooey dough in the middle (which I live). I also asked for mushrooms on half the pizza and there were mushrooms on literally 2 pieces. The service when picking up is neither good nor bad. It is usually a fast here your pizza and here your money. They never chat or anything while waiting for payment to go through. But they're not rude or something. Dad! John 's is 1 more mess away from us never order from them again.

Awful. I understand that the chefs are also humans; I just didn't expect the customer service to be so terrible when I cried and nicely asked to exchange my wings for chicken poppers. I was interrogated for my complaint. I was told I don't know how a chicken wing tastes. I was too excited to even ask for a refund on my pizza because it was also terrible. Not fresh, the cheese in the crust was terrible that everything was thrown out. And the manager was so rude. I decided to get a refund instead of Becayse I didn't even want to eat from there anymore. Also do not get the garlic parmesan wings unless you bring a towel because they are through the box and there is oil everywhere The first time ever order there, and never again.

We frequent this location for large parties, and the quality has been fairly consistent and acceptable. Occasionally some pizzas are a little under done, which I assume is because our order is a large quantity 6+ pizzas generally. They're pretty fast though. Papa John's is generally more expensive than other chains though, so your bang for buck depends if you are using deals/loyalty program. Good if it's close to you.
