National On 8th - Calgary

The food at National has gone way down hill in quality and options in the past year. There are hardly any vegetarian options and the salads are so basic. Very disappointing. The rooftop patio is also not as nice as before. What happened to this place?! Not going to be a place on my go-to list anymore.

Service started well but we had to cash out with our first server and we had to really flag down the replacement server to get drinks. Music was too loud but the food was nice and the selection of drinks was good.

Why allow me to book a table around 730 when the restuarant closes by 8

Great space for larger groups. The food is always great and service is fast

Waited 1.5 hrs for food to come. The waitress kept telling us it’s almost done. Just prior to leaving she tried to drop off some food that was completely wrong. That sealed the deal. Manager was ok and tried to cover for her but the lack of accountability was too much. I won’t be going back there.
