Bidrage med feedbackOk I normally don't write these reviews but I was so angry I couldn't resist! Went for dinner tonight in the dinner side and decided while waiting for food we would go over to the bar side and throw 20.00 in the vlt. I put my money in the machine ate it, they called the owner over and he informed me that the machine had the 20.00 so obviously it registered in the machine and I was lying. I proceeded to tell this man to go look at his security tapes if he had to to see I wasn't lying, I got no play time, I put the 20.00 in the machine ate it and then a sign came up to call for attendant. His response was he did not have all day to sit and watch tapes. I replied well we know what time it is and it will take you 30seconds to see what happened so it won't take long at all I work in the customer service industry and I deal with this stuff all the time as well. His answer to me was not my problem I don't know if your telling the truth or not and I don't care to waste my time and see and took my 20.00 out of the machine that he managed to find and pull out and put it in his pocket so he pretty much stole my 20.00 even the other people on the bar side couldn't believe it and kept shaking their heads saying it was ridiculous how this man was treating us.I understand it's only 20.00 but it's the principal of the thing and if you work in a customer service industry you don't treat your customers like that especially when we are always the only ones in the restaurant. And it was unfortunate because our waitress was a gem and was so good to us and actually said to me before we left I'm glad someone else got to see what type of person he is because he is a horrible boss and extremely unfair. Needless to say we will never return and I would suggest if anyone else doesn't want their money stolen from them then stay away
There was 11 of us and the was only two other couples in the restaurant. The food was good but not great with the exception of the pizza. Everyone who had the pizza was very impressed and full of complimentsOur server was very good and had no problems separating the bill for everyone.
I will try to keep this short, my daughter treated me to dinner and a movie for Mother's Day. Over 10 years ago Mr. Schnapps was good not so now. Appetizer stuff crab mushrooms caps. Where's the crab? and looked like and tasted as if mushrooms came from a can. Steak and lobster, lobster was shredded trying to get this tough piece out the shell, Caesar salad had a minuscule amount of dressing...needed to ask for a side of dressings for both of us. Butter to dip lobster was just oil. Although expressed disappointment to server and asked her to show the cook our plates with shredded lobster and barely touch salad, we could hear her laughing in the kitchen so she must of found our dilemma comical. I told the server I would be making comments about our experience but she did not care...Couldn't get out of there fast enough my daughter insisted on tipping because she felt badly for server. Went to the movie and we both ended up with the runs and missed most of the movie. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK!
Going to be honest I've only been here once, but I do eat out a lot and the food was good and the service was good as well. It wasn't very busy so we got our food and everything right away and the staff seemed friendly and enjoyed working there.
After being extremely indecisive on where to go for dinner, a friend advised that she had a coworker who has been to Mr. Schnapps and said it was good, we decided to give it a try. We chose to sit in the dining room and after hearing nothing but silence, we should've took that a hint to leave. We were seated by a friendly hostess, however, the restaurant had 2 other tables that were occupied and she sat us directly behind the hostess station. There was no music or anything playing, just silence, so we felt we had to whisper the whole time. Our server came and took our drink order 5ish minutes (again, thoughts of running were discussed while waiting). She brought our drink and didn't return for another 15 minutes for our order. She was maybe 8 feet away from us but was too busy standing and eating her dinner to notice us. When she did return, my friend ordered a chicken sandwich with a side caesar salad and decided on a thin crust wild mushroom pizza. Our food took about 20 minutes which isn't unreasonable, however, we sat with empty drinks for a majority of it. Again, the server was a few feet away from us eating and chatting with the hostess. Another person brought our food out, the pizza looked like a frozen pizza that had been overcooked and the caesar salad was drenched in dressing. We had a little chuckle and a moment of why didn't we run while we had the chance. Our server came and we asked for refills and salt and pepper. She returned with the refills but no salt and pepper. We had to constantly ask for refills which is annoying as literally there was only one other table at this point on the other side of the restaurant. The server and hostess were busy sorting money and chatting which it totally fine as long as clients are happy. I said to my friend that the entire time we were there, she hadn't once checked in on the other table in the restaurant. The bill came and she did separate them for us so that was nice. We felt obligated to leave a higher tip than wanted as we paid with the debit/credit machine at the table. All in all, it was a hilarious night filled with this actually can't be happening moments. The food and service was something to be desired. On our way out we noticed that the front door had a height measurement chart so that should've been our first clue! Do yourself a favour and just go to Ihop instead!
