Bidrage med feedbackFirst time here and without question, the *best* ramen I've ever had! Generous portion and delicious! I had the Shio Ramen and edamame. Will be back!Update: second time back (I don't live in Calgary) and had the Miso Ramen this time. Still fantastic!
Got the tonkotsu shoyu and onigiri set. The onigiri was pretty good! The ramen was pretty disappointing though. I tend to like my noodles hard, but these were much too hard even for me and wasn't pleasant to eat. The one piece of chashu I got was alright, but a bit dry. One piece also felt pretty stingy as the portion size. The broth was...just alright. It tasted and felt watery when I expected something rich and creamy.Service was friendly. They gave us a tiny teapot of green tea for the table there was only enough for one small cup of tea per person. They offered to top up with hot water, which was nice but it would have been better if they checked on the teapot more frequently to top it up more. When we went, the shop was half empty. It never got full during the duration of our stay. But we felt like we were being hurried to leave, even though there was still over an hour before closing, and there were plenty of open tables available. Not sure what the rush was about!Overall, it's just okay. But there are better ramen restaurants for the price.
I had the spicy egoma ramen. Taste was okay, not the best, not the worst. Price was great at $15. I can handle spice, but this soup felt like someone shook some cayenne pepper and the lid fell off making the broth no longer tasty and effectively inedible. Noodles and toppings were tasty though.
Had thought about trying this place for awhile and wish I would have went sooner! The Ramen is very flavorful and tasty. The restaurant also has a nice atmosphere so go try it out!Food: 5/5
Went with a friend, my first time going. The atmosphere was really nice, felt cozy but busy. I got the Tonatsu Shoyu Ramen and it was delicious! Broth was tasty!Food: 5/5
