La Tia Mexican Cousine - Calgary

I frequent this restaurant often for lunch. The flavors are very authentic and it is a popular spot among Mexican locals. The hours can be unpredictable, so it's a bit of a gamble whether it's open or not. Nevertheless, my favorite dish is the taco plate with chorizo.

In the middle of chinatown, a Mexican restaurant. I really like the barbacoa tacos and consome that they prepare on weekends, the most authentic that Ive tasted in Calgary. Its nothing fancy, like a mexican fonda, it reminds me the traditional places where I used to eat in Mexico.

This hotel offers good value and has been recently updated. The rooms are nice, clean, and modern, but not overly fancy. The food at the restaurant is delicious and reasonably priced.
