Joey's Fish Shack - Calgary

Ordered some fish and chips to go. I ate it when I got home. The fish was delicious, definitely above par for taste and quality compared to fish and chips you get at a pub or bar. Asked for the fries to be extra crispy and they were not only still hit when I got home but they were indeed crispy and very tasty. I recommend this place for a nice lunch if you're wanting something else than your normal fast food or such. Service: Take out

1st time visiting this location for my annual Good Friday Fish Meal...very pleased, the price is good for what you get...I had the Famous Fish Sandwich...it was large filling and 'Messy ', highly recommend...decore is very clean and comfortable...Owners Parminder and his wife are very friendly and welcoming...good find...will go again Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

At first I avoided this place cause I thought it was like the Joey's seafood restaurants chain I had been to up north. ITS NOTHING LIKE IT! I had the street tacos and coconut shrimp and it was to die for. My date had the classic Joey's battered fish (I think that's what's it called) and tofish and let me try some. The classic battered fish was crispy and flaky and I could eat a whole mess of it another day. The tofish I never been one to eat tofu but I'd totally order this for myself again as an appetizer, cause I can eat a lot. Place wasn't far from me in walking distance so I will go again.
