Edo Japan - Coventry Hills - Calgary

My grandson, his football teammate, and I were in Coventry Hills for a game and were unsure of where to have lunch. We decided to stop at this restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I ordered a teriyaki chicken dish, my grandson had sushi, and the other boy ordered a yaki soba noodle bowl. We all agreed that the food was delicious and the service was excellent.

After trying Edo Japan, we decided to dine at this restaurant. The food was delicious, but unfortunately, they forgot a part of our order. Reading other reviews on TripAdvisor, it appears that this is a recurring issue for them.

I have been visiting the Edo Coventry Hills location for 15 years and unfortunately, the service has been consistently poor. Despite giving them another chance, my dinner was late and my order was forgotten. It seemed like cherry orders were being prioritized over mine. The restaurant is run by the same owner and the staff turnover is high. I was extremely disappointed and will not be returning.

It was terrible. I had to stay there for an hour, just because they got my order wrong 2 times! the food proportions were not as large as the size they advertised. I have sushi and the torch time I ordered that sushi was broken. Literally broken! the rice was blown and the seatang was half outside the actual sushi roll. the second time when I ordered, they gave me gurke instead of avocado. to finish this, they cut the sushi uneven, and I mean not only a cm longer or shorter I mean like 3 or 4 cm longer or shorter. at last they have it right! time and money. definitely they do not recommend this place. take your money somewhere else.

For a Fast Food place, it has a good selection of items. Really delicious dumplings. Nice variety of Bento Box.
