Dairy Queen Grill Chill - Calgary

My brother and I visited this restaurant for kids' cones and were pleasantly surprised by the friendly service. Having previously worked at a Dairy Queen in another part of town, I must say that this location has some of the best hospitality in all of YYC. We loved the kids' cone dipped in churro sauce. Overall, I would rate the food 5 out of 5 and the service 10 out of 10.

The paper straw ruined the milkshake. Tried 2 different ones. Literally had to go to another fast food place to make it drinkable. Unacceptable.Food: 1/5

Whenever I go to this location, the staff are always pleasant, friendly, and (sometimes) even silly! They keep a positive environment almost as soon as you enter. Sometimes, the odd time, someone isn 't having a great day and it can make the experience closer to normal fast food experiences. The ice cream is consistent with portion sizes and topping levels. Some DQs it can depend on who is working so you sometimes will get less or more. This location can be really busy, but I find that it is never outrageously busy or long wait times. The staff seem to have a pretty good system. I love getting the $8 cheeseburger meal deal as it 's reasonable and a decent amount of food for the price (and you get a sundae). My favourite DQ so far!

So I am on keto so I normally don't get a bun for my burger... I ask for 2 pieces of the grill chicken not knowing it was going to come out to 17 for 2 thin slices of chicken breast. But I could get a triple hamburger for 10.. I had went in and told them I felt like I was over charged as I have checked my reciept after eating it. She had said know the price is right you got 2 chicken burgers but when you look at the price of meats for restaurants chicken is alot cheaper them beef. Wasn't impressed, and I come her often...
