Ceili's Modern Irish Pub - Calgary

High tables only and no booths. The bar was in the middle of the room. Nice wood floor. Traditional Irish decor. Menu is varied as we had appetizers. Potato skins , ribs, and fish tacos. All good was good.

An average pub in downtown Calgary. Ate here before a hockey game as it was close to the hotel that we were staying at. Service was lacking as soon as we got in the door took 5 minutes for anyone to come to our table and another 5 to get menus. After drinks were ordered those as well took a while to come out. Food was good, we ordered the nachos which came out in a timely manner and were tasty. Restaurant wasn't very busy at all so was expecting better service but it was OK dining experience.

This was a convenient 1 block walk from the hotel, so decided to give it a try. Wasn't disappointed. Food was great, and so was the service. Good value too. I will visit again next time I travel to Calgary.

Stopped in for a beer and some food after travelling to Calgary for business. Close to my hotel so we thought we would give it a try. Service was very good and the food was excellent. Mostly typical bar/pub style food with some basic Irish twists but good.

Ein gemütlicher Pub, der zwar recht modern gestaltet ist, mit dunklen Möbeln und schummriger Beleuchtung aber authentische Kneipenstimmung aufkommen lässt. Die Bierauswahl ist groß, allerdings für einen Pub nicht gerade preiswert. Wir haben dort zwei Salate gegessen, die gut gemacht und lecker waren. Die Bedienung war flott und sehr freundlich - wir würden wieder hingehen.
