Bobby's Place, Olde World Tavern - Calgary

Have been here several times and the quality of the food and the service is very consistent. This was my first lunch time experience. The staff is always welcoming. Great neighborhood pub with good pub grub!

Interesting family owned restaurant with a great story. Trying hard to be a beighbourhood pub, with game boards, puzzles etc scattered throughout. Good sekection of beers. Their homemade Shepherds pie is a must!

What an unexpected pleasure! A quaint Scottish bar in a modern strip mall. And unlike most Celtic places, it was packed on Friday night. Good beer, Good British food and lots of great service!

I never realized until I got home again that I didn't get any coleslaw with my fish and chips . The fish was overcooked and though everyone else at the table seemed to have a nice portion mine was small, and the 'homemade' tartar sauce was heavy and goopy. Better to go to Joey's for fish and chips any day.

I ate at this restaurant twice. It's your typical pub. The first time I had a BLT, the second time I had wings. I didn't really care for either dish. I found the bacon on the BLT underdone. I took it off my sandwich. The wings were breaded and seemed really greasy and a little soggy. However, the buffalo sauce on the wings was good. It's a nice size restaurant. The atmosphere is a typical pub, with dim lights and TVs all over the place. It looked clean and taken care of. I had the same server both times I was there and she was very nice. The prices are decent.
