A&W - Calgary

In the last number of years the quality of A&W is not the same as I remember it, most of the time I dont even get my full order or they leave something out. I've been to the dub alot and when I look in the bag and my fries are missing or they got the wrong burger It is a dissapointment. it's been consistantly dissapointing the last few months. what gives?! I get fast food places are not supposed to be the highest quality or the best you can get but every single time I've been to an A&W in the last few months it's been sucky. like thismorning I asked for my breakfast sandwich and a potato patty and I was in a hurry, they never even marked down the potato patty on the drive through window even though I mentioned it twice to them. last time it was completely the wrong burger. Have people stopped caring or do they just hate their jobs that much that it doesnt matter that they are taking my money for a service that they arent providing...

This food service USED TO BE one of my top five. Until, of course, I could not get in to order at the restaurant after the closures were lift. No, they expect you to dodge incoming drive through customers to order at the window. Gawd help you if you happen to show up for dinner without a vehicle. A deliberate snub to foot traffic? Absolutely, considering some of their competitors managed to open a take out window for foot traffic that is NOT PART OF THEIR DRIVE THROUGH!!!!!! Making foot traffic try to negotiate the drive through on FOOT is not only dangerous, it is **** irresponsible. Forget trying to take your kids out to the local A&W just to risk having them run over by irresponsible or even ignorant drivers. I have even been yelled at by drivers for trying to order food on foot through their drive throughs. I have tried at two different locations, and it's always the same. You want to keep getting what you're getting, keep doing what you're doing. Ya'll can **** off.

We miss that fabulous DOG COMBO—-no one else does it! Teen burgers are Our Favourites—crispy bacon. Great Beer! And the best onion rings on the planet! Great late night service.

Back from the Confederation park we saw this A&W restaurant and we stopped for the onion ring. Since we had once in Edmonton, we tried to get another in other A&W. It was good.

The service was pretty fast, the food was hot and tasty and the pop was cold. I guess you can't ask for better in a fast food restaurant.
