Bidrage med feedbackTo me Starbucks is Starbucks nothing new. For those who want to order and is not sure on the location ask the barista! I still send my order to the wrong location but hey since I'm in The Core it's easy to get from one location to the next. I tried their new Caramel Waffle Cone frappuccino and by far it is one of the best fraps I ever tried. Although it doesn't taste like waffles or cones but mostly caramel but hey it's still good!
I like this Starbucks it's busy but efficient, the staff is friendly and they just renovated so it's a cozier place, too. Naturally, the prices, drinks, etc. are all basic Starbucks. The drinks are awesome and I've never had a problem with them. I did once buy a bad greek yogurt from here, but they exchanged it with no problem at all and even gave me a card for a free drink on them for the trouble. It gets really rushed during the morning period, so you may want to avoid at that time. Seating is limited.
This Starbucks is right by my office so I can usually grab a coffee on my way to work or meet vendors here because it's pretty central. There definitely isn't a shortage of Starbucks around, right upstairs on the 2nd level there's another location, across the street in TD square is another newly renovated one and a block or so away in Scotia center is also a Starbucks. It's rarely lined up, but if it is they're pretty efficient someone is usually working their way down the line writing people's orders on coffee sleeves so you can just present those and pay right when you reach the cashier. Although I've never sat inside, I like that you do have the option to do so. There isn't some weirdo with their entire computer/printer/filing cabinet set up like you would see in the Starbucks in Mission or 17th Ave (it's free wifi, not free office space area people!
Classic Starbucks location with quick service. What you would normally expect from a Starbucks, plus comfy chairs! Decent coffee from the chain you know.
I have had many staff meetings here over the last year, just because it is a very central location and you can get there easily by train. It is also on the first level of Bankers Hall so you can do a quick run in ... meeting ... run back out again. Although this place is smaller for a Starbucks we usually get the comfy seating which is short of a miracle at busy Bankers hall. We all know about what Starbucks offers and their wonderful pricing... NOT ... but why I wanted to mention this one in particular is because around 6 or 7ish they actually give out the baked goods for free. I mean they are not as fresh as the morning but nonetheless it is always tasty and a great surprise. The staff walks around with a tray and offer whatever goods they have left to the clients that are there. I had Danish, my co-worker had a muffin and my other co-worker had a scone. And this is a nice ploy on Starbucks part because usually you want to buy a new coffee or tea drink to eat with your new pastry.
