Ozan Winery Yh Distillery - Calera

The Calera country side is a beautiful area for a winery. We enjoyed this place although when we went it was a bit crowded and the staff/service wasn’t as friendly and attentive as I’d prefer. Overall the wines were good and we enjoyed the setting. Also have been by as part of the train excursions we’ve been on. Been a while since we’ve visited. Beautiful in both spring and fall. In spring everything is lush and in bloom and green. In fall the leaves are changing. Beautiful Bama country side setting. Look forward to visiting again sometime!

We did a wine flight, spirit flight cheese sampler. We didn't get to do the train ride but the slushies and magenta wine is a must try. They also have a cheese with blueberries that I love. The lady who served us was funny welcoming. I will definitely visit again

We visited OZAN for the first time on my birthday 7/22. The customer service was amazing! Ms.Cindy took good care of us and we will definitely be coming back! I highly recommend this place. So relaxing and good vibes!

Ozan Winery is a hidden gem. Located right in Calera, AL. The winery is beautiful and has amazing views. I recently visited with a friend for my birthday. We had such a great time. We did the Wine Train and Brunch. Upon arrival, I couldn’t believe that this beautiful winery was tucked away in Calera. Then we went inside and had Irish Coffee and some treats. We sipped our coffee and enjoyed the very relaxing view. Next, it was time to head down for the train. We learned all about the history of Ozan while walking to and waiting on the train. Then the train arrived, we boarded the train, and went for a relaxing train ride. Once back it was time for the wine tasting, we arrived back to a beautiful display of snacks to enjoy with our wines. We were able to sample several different wines from dry to sweet to red and dessert. I honestly didn’t want the brunch to end but was very happy with the decision to spend my birthday there. I will visit again with family and friends.

Service was good but atmosphere experience was excellent. They were definitely busy. Food was amazing especially the cheesecake with the raspberry sauce. I wanted to ride the train but we didn’t pay for that reservation. The lowest reservation is not the train ride option. Full warning! My fault for not calling making sure I selected the right reservation. Wine was also okay. I couldn’t find a option I liked. With the lowest package you do get like a mini box of a charcuterie board, 5 mini shot size of wine too taste a wine cup souvenir.
