Veritys At The Bridge - Calderdale

We had a fantastic breakfast at this restaurant. We stopped by during our Sunday morning walk and were able to sit with our well-behaved dog. The coffee was great, the eggs royale were superb, and the service was friendly and attentive. We will definitely be returning. Thank you.

I have visited this cafe a couple of times before this year, and the food has always been excellent. It is all cooked to order, so always hot and fresh. I visited with my brother and sister. We each had different dishes, and while they all looked good, I have to say that my Caesar salad is the best I have had anywhere. Masses of hot chicken and bacon, and the sauce was delicious. This would be enough to give a positive review, but I felt that the service today went beyond anything that could have been expected. My elderly sister asked for a peppermint tea (they have an extensive hot drinks menu), the owner apologised and said they only had the ‘Two Mint’ variety. My sister was quite happy with this. Some time later however, the owner came in with some shopping bags, and pulled out a box of peppermint tea bags, with the comment that he would have some the next time she was in. It must be 6 weeks or more since we were last there, and only our 3rd visit, so it’s not as though we were very regular customers.I feel that this level customer service is exceptional and deserves acknowledgement, so whilst I only very rarely post restaurant reviews, I felt I really had to show my appreciation. I hope they have the success they very much deserve.

This fantastic cafe is located on the main road with convenient parking. The portion sizes are generous and satisfying. All dishes were delicious and cooked perfectly. The mushrooms and hash browns were particularly enjoyable. We requested our Full English without Black Pudding or Tomatoes and it was accommodated without any issues, without compromising on the portion size. The prices are very reasonable and offer great value for money. The staff is friendly, and the server was lovely. We are excited to return for another hearty meal.

This cafe is absolutely fantastic! The decor is tasteful and contemporary, the meal cooked by owner David is delicious, and the ambience is delightful. It is conveniently located with parking directly outside. The coffee machine is fantastic. This cafe/restaurant is a true gem, aiming for and achieving high-quality food, drinks, and customer service. I wish I lived closer so I could be a regular. Thank you for making my friends' engagement meal so special.
