Bombay Lounge - Calderdale

Upon arriving at the restaurant, we were met with a car park filled with large potholes. After struggling to find street parking due to a blocking motorist, who turned out to be the owner, we entered the empty and shabby restaurant. The inexperienced 15-year-old waiter seated us and took our drink orders, but the beer was flat and warm, and the baby's juice looked suspicious. The food took a long time to arrive despite us being the only patrons, and when it did, it was terrible. My spicy prawn starter was mostly onion with a few prawns, and the combination starter was oddly sprayed with water as it was brought to the table. The main courses were cold and greasy, with my son's curry being particularly unappetizing. The waiter's comment at the end of the meal was shocking, as he asked if we wanted anything else or just the bill. Overall, this was the worst dining experience we have had, and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic and I always wish they delivered to my area because they are the best around. The service is great and this place deserves to be packed with customers.

I had a great experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was friendly. The ingredients were fresh and the curries were bursting with flavor. I highly recommend this place.

We only go to this restaurant now even though its not local to us. Food is great, friendly staff and nice ambiance. Prices are good also.
