Mmmmm just had the best fish and chips in a long time and the staff were lovely

The best rooms in the area at the best price, the pub has some fantastic food that is prepared with skill and care, black pudding salad is a triumph, staff are all excellent and the owners are very welcoming. Cant wait to go back.

Had lunch today food was absolutely delicious we have been to many pub restaurants in the area but the food here was the best and the lovely lady that served us was amazing really bubbly and happy. Elle I think she was called. Having staff like her really makes a difference to a company.

I cannot speak highly enough of every member of staff that we met. They were all so welcoming and friendly. The food was an extremely good standard. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

First time visiting on Christmas Eve and had a lovely time! Despite the pub being so full, the staff were so lovely, polite and attentive. There was a great selection of food (not just a set festive menu like most places do on Christmas Eve). The food is well priced, good portion sizes and came out piping hot! My entire party had a great time, we will definitely be returning
