We were yesterday as a pasqualino on my birthday. One and a half hour drive for his cous cous. We arrived by chance, we were really good but especially good food especially the dish fregu pilu pasqualino. to come back for sure.
A late August evening 2022, dinner booked in advance, only way to enter a very busy summer period. the waiter has an uncertain attitude, as if he should think well before speaking and acting, exchange eyes with the owner at the counter. in the evening we ask a wine to the glass because we are only in two and an unforgettable tragic scene begins, which I would like to happily film: goes to take the wine that has been authorized to give us and shows us a bottle more empty than full to ask if it was ok; then start the show with the stirring, pour a little wine in a glass, then stop and move away to take a napkin; when he returns, he does two or three times finally, satisfied with his work as a gram meter (pharmaceutical, goldsmith., he puts his glasses close to the dishes. If the scene is not tragic, is it moving?! It was the first time we received such a service at the table. the rest of the dinner is normal, the dishes are good, but not excellent by wow! . . . the kitchen offers very traditional dishes, there is no expect any innovation, they are the same of always, too obvious, not even a small touch of elegance, nor of originality. the quality of raw material is good. very disappointing the pilau to the 'ragosta, so much smoke and little roast, is definitely preferable than to the seafood. average prices, but only because we are at the sea in Sardinia and in August.
