El Gallo Dorado Mexican Restauran

Excellent food, friendly service. Can’t wait to go back!UPDATE: Since our first visit we have ordered many times from El Gallo Dorado. The food is always AMAZING!! So grateful to have this delicious, authentic Mexican food in Cairo, and looking forward to trying many more items from their menu!

I'm going to be honest here. This is probably one of the best mexican restaurants in this town. The menu was clearly better than the buffet. I was surprised because they are new!

The food here is fantastic, and the staff is very welcoming. The menu is extensive, offering a wide variety of options that go far beyond what you typically find at most Mexican restaurants. I’m looking forward to trying more dishes. I ordered the posole, and it was delicious—definitely a generous serving!
