Bidrage med feedbackThe place had really nice interieur with a focus on the use of wood that was quite contemporary. for entrees we had the thin cut bark meat, gealterashi tofu and Kingfish/salmon sashimi. all the escapes were very tasty with great strong aromas. call them to the bark, which was sent beautifully on the outside and was raw on the inside. this made the meat quite delicate and delicate to eat. for the net we had the crispy pork bunt. it was cooked quite nicely with a nice crack on the skin and the curry was a good supplement to the booze. However, I found the spiced ananas and carrots a little strange as why it was added to the court did not seem to work so well. the sweet and soy brazed disappointment was a little disappointing. the main reason was that we expected pecking duck with the Chinese pfanncakes (although our bad we did not read the menu correctly) it did not hit the place. Apart from that, the duck was overboiled as it was dry and it was lacking strong fatty aromas that I would expect from one.
NYE The food was amazing and the wait staff were great. BUT unfortunately they were understaffed that night. Only 4 wait staff to serve food and drink (they didn't have the time to come to our table for a drinks order). They were so under staffed that 90% of all tables were filled with empty drink glasses. Feel sorry for the staff. Management have let down their own staff. One waiter was serving the food has been working from 12noon and at the time at 9pm he has not had a break. We tipped the waiter for what he did for us. I understand this is covid related but better serve a number they can well than try an accommodate everyone with terrible outcomes. All the best for next peak period.
Tried this place after it was recommended to us, never trust a stranger! The staff were fantastic and incredibly attentive, so props to them. Though, it sadly stopped there. The venue was stuffy and hot, without working A/C or open windows. Cocktails were really watered down and lacked a much needed sweet/citrus/strong taste. The pork belly was incredibly dry and pungent, served strangely with roast-style carrots and dry hummus- not the right accompaniment for pork. For what sounded like an Asian dish on paper, it lacked in Asian-style flavours and it desperately needed a rich sauce to hug it. The beef massaman was tender though it wasn’t properly seasoned. Samosas also lacked in seasoning and the pickle garnish somehow missed the punchy scale. I really hope these nudges can count towards some changes, as this place has serious potential to turn it around! Best of luck.
Was very disappointed with the service, we were told that food will take a bit long to come and its understandable. However, we didn’t expect it would take more than 1 and half hour and our mains still haven’t come Noticed other tables came after us and got their food first! We had to leave before we could get our mains they were taken out of the bill at the end) Such a shame that the place looks nice and we ordered quite lots of food and could have ordered more drinks to enjoy with our mains
I went for dinner about a week ago. Whilst the atmosphere and venue was nice with great service, the rest was terribly disappointing. Food lacked flavour. It was bland and plain. Asian fusion places generally set the benchmark high with flavour and depth in their food. This missed the mark terribly. I would spend my money elsewhere. This has to be one of the worst tasting Asian fusion I have had in a very long time.
