Service is good. However, the food is average. We ordered char kuay teow, meegoreng , fried rice and roti. The char kuay teow noodle was a bit hard (like not fully cooked), and the use of char siew pork in the 2 noodle dishes were a bit odd. Roti was quite plain but the roti sauce was great. Fried rice was very good.
Very sub par experience. My Malaysian family ordered beef rendang, sambal chicken and garlic fish. Unfortunately there was nothing authentically flavoured about the above dishes. Stay away from the rendang in particular. Service was abrupt and rude, although we did arrive 20 minutes to closing for lunch so perhaps she was looking forward to closing up. I will give credit to the fact the food came quickly but overall we left feeling very dissatisfied.
I went here after reading good reviews, I'm not sure if it was the same place? Horrible piano accordion, merry go round music. THE most expensive laksa I have ever had. It came out in a bowl with a big chip out of it. The chicken was in chunks that large it was not cooked through and raw. It had very little flavour, just like watered down coconut milk. The bean curd was like rubber. I was very polite and mentioned some of my concerns to the staff with no action being taken. I normally am very fair with my reviews but could not recommend this laksa to anyone.
Chinese cook from China trying to cook good street food from Malaysia! Absolute fail. They must have changed ownership. Funny and weird flavours and ingredients that are at odds with each other. Presentation is a bit off too except for the large egg on the Nasi and Mee Goreng on top of the entire dish. While we were there, different groups of Chinese Tourists came in and took precedence over our orders. They were served first before the walk-in customers. Sad...
