Bidrage med feedbackThis small laneway concept is a great addition to Cairns' trendy backstreet locations. The food and drink menu is good, but the execution falls short. The burgers are flat like bagels and the portion of fries is small. The sauces are average and the brisket is dry. Also, beware of the $16 cocktails served in paper cups. Service is from a window and the height of the counter may be a challenge for shorter individuals. While the atmosphere is not all bad, the location off Mulgrave Road can be too noisy for conversation. Proceed with caution when visiting.
Great food, great drinks, awesome atmosphere but lose all hope if your under 5ft 2. The window to order is well, well above my head and I flat out refuse to go unless it's with tall friends. It was funny the first time, now it's annoying.
Best beer and burger combo on Thursday and Friday. Great music JJJ sounds. Mountain Goat beer on tap
This hidden gem down an alley was a bit of fun. Great beer - with Mountain Goat on tap and Stone and Wood there too. Yummy good - we tried two different burgers - a pulled brisket and pulled pork and both were super tasty and well presented. The ping pong table, well that was just plain good fun! This was a fun place to be and by the looks of it getting quite a following. It had a distinctly southern coolness ...
This review focuses on the bar area during the late afternoon, which may only be available during the summer months of July and August.
