Waterside Resaurant - CAIRNS CITY

Fine selection on menu including seafood and meat. The Australian meat selection was perfectly prepared. Suitable wines. The staff was quick and pleasant. Very good meal,

We had a super meal in the first night and enjoyed it so much we went back a big mistake. In the first night we had super service, tasty food and a great evening, second visit was bland average food, that was a disappointment and...Staff that was on the question how our meal was 4 times in 10 minutes irritating!

Was really disappointed that this restaurant was only open for breakfast. We stayed at Cairns Plaza Hotel for 4 nights and would have eaten food and drinks there, but unfortunately they did not open. Breakfast was good, but the poor girl waiting for the tables ran away from her feet. She was a pleasant girl, but certainly needed an additional pair of hands or two. The view over the pool and the port was nice, but not used enough. Some of the reviews to read, it seems that this restaurant is a bit a hit and miss.

The food was good, nothing extraordinary but decent. The staff was pleasant. The restaurant offered a beautiful view of the harbor. We had a lovely evening dining here.
