Bidrage med feedbackHorrible and Horrified experience! I am very regret we walked into this restaurant without checking any reviews. Not to mention about the bad quality and the small amount of the dishes, the manager (maybe owner) was very rude. He (the guy in the photos) almost wanted to hit us only because we were asking for our long-delayed dessert. Also, it says "free garlic bread with any lunch entree", but we were not served any at all until we finished our main course. We actually had to ask for it when we asked for the delayed dessert. The owner smashed the countertop and shouted for us to get out of his restaurant. I can not believe this kind of service happened in Cairns as a tourism city. I would not even give one star to this restaurant if I have the option. There are so many good choices nearby. I highly recommend anyone to avoid this one.
Average food. Very long waiting times ....... Nice enough place at the bottom of the boardwalk.
Friendly warm staff! So glad we are here. The view was sensational, the food was great. I had butter chicken which was so yummy, my husband ordered a chicken dish, his chicken was a little dry, but mine was very good only would have liked more! For dessert we had complementary pancake each, it was a nice extra, along with a coffee this girl couldn't have asked for more.
Well our fortnightly work group dinner that crawls every restaurant in Cairns made a fatal mistake in going to Suprimo.. No table service! All it takes is one staff to wander around and take orders and walla, instant 5 stars.Instead you stand in a line for 20 minutes waiting to order, the line was consistent ALL night.. You also need to be a Camel, you get very thirsty waiting to get a beer and having to get up and order one every time... Table service please. The food was good, reasonable price and pretty big. Would go again if we could get table service.
So the food was essentially pub grub, at least what we ate was: a dozen fresh oysters, a fishermen's basket, a t-bone with creamy garlic prawns. The steak was a special and came with a free beer (which was delivered straight after ordering despite the order being taken as the first round of drinks was delivered so I had two, looked like pints, sitting in front of me - never mind, no biggie) Everything was fresh, including the oysters and the prawns. the steak was tender although the garlic in the prawns was missing in action (hey I'm not out to make friends, I'm out for flavour). The beer was a local boutique brew which was light on gas but crisp and clean tasting and went down very easily. We were surprised to discover that purchasing a 'main' each had qualified us for a couple of free pancakes, ($1.50 extra for ice cream, $2.50 extra for ice cream, strawberries and Nutella!) we had them straight, with syrup and they were light, fluffy and delicious. The food was well worth the price, the service was very friendly and as the 'two beers'issue was of no concern fast and efficient. I expect this would be a great place for a family or group meal, tasty, satisfying, inexpensive but pleasant and friendly.
