Bidrage med feedbackGreat location to spend a couple of hours with good food, good wine, good company. Don't be rushed ... take your time. My wife browsed around the stores around the square during the (surprisingly short) wait for the food. Our personal guide who we trust tremendously brought us to Terruno for a late lunch. It was awesome - but it helps to let the waiter know your preferences. We had the spinach soup and the corn soup - they were like liquid natural spinach and corn. Unbelievably tasty! Like liquid spinach; liquid fresh corn. Huge portions - they would have been enough as a lunch just by themselves! And then the pork filets - our guide explained to the waiter to not overcook them (which they appear to do with pork and rabbit ...). It came out beautifully moist. Steak was good; Malbec sauce was very well done! Surprising speed - we had settled down for the "typical" duration and Terruno was very fast in bringing out the dishes and the check!Well done, can't go wrong!!
We only ate lunch here but the waiter could not have been more attentive or the food better quality or a more interesting choice.
The porch, indoor and outdoor back garden and the setting is really comfortable and authentic. The food, off a large menu, is average to good and the service is quick and friendly. The wine list--make sure you try and hyper local wines, is good.
A big disappointment on all levels and should be avoided and shpuld not be rated as high. The people were nice but the restaurant has lost any contact with their customer. Old interior, switches with treats hanging out and table cloth stock on tables in restaurant next to you and a outdated bar which is a mess . Old pillows on chairs outside .... aĺl out dated. The food was really poor. Chicken low quality and very vet and not nicely grilled with poor fries and one leaf of greens. The pasta was just acceptable. We noticed customers sending back their lomo. Wines of Malbec starting at 300 A$ was maybe the best. The bread was send together with the food.... It was a very disappointing evening and would have paid double for a decent meal. How to mess up a grilled piece of chicken ??? In Argentina. The restaurant should quickly update their quality of food and athosphere or just close their doors avoiding to destroy someones evening. What a dissappointment !Just enjoy one of the many others whi might be small but try to do somerhing special.
Don't expect a real gourmet restaurant here. This is very good, decent basic stuff, well prepared with a very good service and advise, with an outdoor dining option. Wine service perfect (choice, advise, decanter, temperature), which is rare (most red wines shall be served between 16 and 18 degrees, and here they do).
