Darran - Caerphilly

Today, I visited The Darran for lunch with my dad and occupational therapist. There was only one lady working, but she was kind and explained that she was on her own. She brought our drinks over and gave us some time to decide on our orders. Despite having to wait a bit, I didn't mind because she was managing everything by herself. The buttermilk chicken strips and popcorn chicken were delicious and beautifully presented. The chips and fries were flavorful and enjoyable. The rocket salad was also really tasty. The drinks were fresh and the decor was lovely. Although the restaurant didn't have the Marston's logo, it had other indicators that it was a Marston's establishment. It reminded me of The Otter and The Spring River. I believe they should add the Marston's logo, but overall, I had a great experience and will definitely be returning. I highly recommend this place for a meal, 10/10.

This welcoming, clean, and cozy pub has professional and friendly staff. Our meals were delicious, and I enjoyed them with several pints of SA Gold, which was excellent. The menu and desserts were great, and we can't wait to come back for another visit. Thank you.
