Les Aromates - Cadenet

We stumbled on this little joy through complete accident while we are looking for a simple snack lunch in cadenet. Maybe we should have known better on Sunday! almost nothing was open, so we got stuck here anyway. we received a cordial greeting and were installed in a tiny corner of the small terrace that had been visited with French chatter. we just wanted to have two courses, but seduced into three. carpaccio of heavy fish and melone for the old man, truffled ravioli for me. then we had both carpaccio of bark meat with delicious little sweet and finally I had an excellent pfirsichmousse. the bill came to just over 50 euro, amazing worth. they deserve to do it very well.

The small family run restaurant located in Cadenet. It was one of the best meals I've had in France. Very friendly service and excellent quality food. The only negative open just a few hours in the evening and the parking is hard to find

Just by sheer luck in the middle of a very hot August day in Provence, we found ourselves in Cadenet and saw a restaurant named Les Aromats in the center. The food was delicious, the wine excellent, and service extremely cordial. The restaurant frequented by...locals mostly made us feel like we belong right there in Provence.

We had a family evening here, nice restaurant. Owners were very hospitable and welcoming and the food was great, local dishes. They don't speak English at all, so brush up on your French menu reading skills.

This is true Provence: Lunch on the terrace of a lovely restaurant at one of the village squares. The occasional traffic can once in a while be a nuisance. But you are highly rewarded by the excellent food for very reasonable prices. Les Aromates is...a place were locals eat which is always a good indicator. They have a limited choice as usual for small restaurants, but every meal is excellent with several interesting fish dishes to choose from.
