Tacos Mi Estilo Jalisco

Has been my go to food truck for an Al Pastor burrito since they were located at the Chevron in San Marcos and been following them ever since. I have visited them when located in Oceanside and now VistaNot sure if they have always used sour cream but this time the sour cream was too much. Always thought they used cotija cheese. I would not recommend the new vista location. For the best experience stick to their OG truck in San Marcos. Portion size is good and ingredient proportions are perfect. They always include salsas on the side and sides like radish, pickled jalapeño and carrots and limesVista location needs a bit of improvement. Ordered a burrito from them and was not the same experience as the San Marcos truck. Burrito was smaller than normal...Maybe they had a bad day today?

First burrito was amazing. I got a little annoyed afterwards because they kept cancelling my order without reason. Whatever...I had it a few times afterwards. I order the same thing every time. Carne asada burrito. No beans. I'd say it's better than average. I'm still searching for the perfect burrito.

Really was hoping this would be a hidden gem for taco shop food. NOPE. Carne asada burrito was 90% rice, dry, meat was just meh (tasted like beef stew), and I only found an almost nondetectable amount of sour cream and beans in the last 2 bites. No Cheese, no salsa. I'm rarely disappointed by any burrito but yeah this was a mistake.

We have stopped by Tacos Mi Estilo Jalisco twice for lunch on the weekend. It's never been too crowded so ordering is pretty quick. The quesabirria is so good! They warm two corn tortillas and fill it with birria and melted cheese. We have also tried the tacos and mulitas with asada and carnitas and both were delicious! For those who don't know, mulitas are very similar to the quesabirria except the meat is whatever you choose. I would highly recommend coming here for the tacos, mulitas, and quesabirria! The food is amazingly fresh and flavorful and for the price $2.75 $3.50) it's really hard to beat. Note this is a truck that is parked outside of the Harley Davidson so there is no dedicated seating or bathrooms.

We were cruising down Mission Blvd yesterday and landed upon this gem. We had the carnitas taco. so yummie I almost forgot to get a photo ?. Price was also reasonable too. Yea so if you’re ever in the Valley you need to hit up this spot.
