Marty's Chicken Hut - Cabo San Lucas

Sorry to report that Marty's was not available during Jan 2016. Not sure if hurricane Odell damaged the place or it is closed. Sign still up however.

Very simple roadside with a few tables and counter service. If you are walking from Madondo beach to the bus you will pass it on your right.

We went here on the recommendation of my brother-in-law..He was right...Tasted like my grandmother's fried chicken.... and the mashed potatoes and biscuits were good too..It was a nice change after days of Mexican food..The prices were very fair and my husband and I liked the large portions..If you are wanting some good home cooking comfort food and a casual hang-out atmosphere. similar to a local taco stand but with American style fried chicken....then check this place out or pick up some chicken to go to the beach.....Make sure you meet Marty, the owner. He is super friendly and helpful.

I t was discussting I would not let my dog eat it!! I found a fried fly too !!!!!raw in the middle there was something wrong with everything!!!! Yuck!!!

My daughter absolutely loves Marty's. So do I. Usually when on vacation we frequent the top rated, top priced restaurants to try them. We eventually get tired of the " FOO FOO " food and revert back to home style cooking for at least 1 or 2 nights. We of course get the chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy. I love the gravy!....The price is very reasonable, hence they don't have huge overhead like other restaurants, that's how they keep the food Awesome and reasonable. Do not expect "The Ritz" We have actually stopped there several times and got it to go for the beach.
