Light Years Byron Bay

Light Years is bustling, and rightly so. The outdoor seating has a somewhat Mediterranean vibe, complemented by the trendy and friendly atmosphere created by the staff, which strikes a perfect balance. If you're at Light Years, you absolutely must try the cocktails. We sampled three and were delighted with all of them, but the Lychee Martini truly warranted a second round. The Korean Peace Chicken Bao Buns are fresh and generous, easily enough for two portions. You definitely deserve a spotlight here. The only downsides were sitting at a communal high table and the intense heat in the outdoor area at noon. Regardless, I can't wait to visit again!

This is likely the best quality food you'll find in Byron Bay. Be sure to make a reservation on their website, as they have limited availability. The bao buns are incredibly tender and delicious. This is a must-try!

We had a fantastic dining experience! We ordered two main dishes, one side, and a starter, which was more than enough for the two of us. We also enjoyed two cocktails, and the total cost came to 170 AUD. Make sure to make a reservation for the weekend, and definitely try their cocktails—they're amazing! The pork was delicious, and the portion of the Vietnamese slaw was generous, even larger than what you typically get at other restaurants. It could easily be enjoyed as a main dish. The Firecracker Chicken was served with a zesty sauce, which added an extra kick.

The girls at the reception recommended this place and I have to say I'm so glad that I tried it even though it was a busy night. The Vietnamese Slavic Flavour Taste has been ordered to meet you in the right places. Would definitely recommend this place, but a booking (I didn't know) service was great and the staff was politely beautiful.

Had one of my favourite meals in Byron at this place. The food was divine, so tasty and fresh, everting we had was better than the next. Service was darling, with our waitress giving us extra attention and hanging around for a chin wag. I will definitely return when I’m back in town!
