The Golden Dragon - Buttevant

We went to the Golden Dragon after being referred by our B &B host. It seems to be a favorite of the people. Our meal was very good, full of flavor. Pepper chicken and broccoli with beef. The meats were both very tender. Service was outstanding.

This restaurant appears to be under new management which seems to be to its benefit. The food is extremely good and reasonably priced. No hassle now accepting bank cards when compared to the the tall man with glasses before would make you go down to the ATM to get cash. I eat here on a regular basis and it's a great restaurant in Foxford.

Food good but pricey. Only 1 other couple there so no atmosphere. Décor old fashioned. Toilet clean. Waiter watching us and rushed to take our plates. Probably would not return.

Had a very pleasant meal in this restaurant, portions are huge and very tasty. Just a pity we were the only ones there (which is sad as the food is very nice), so not much atmosphere. Waiter was a nice lad and was surprised when I asked for chopsticks, though this has happened to me before! House white was very nice too, as we availed of the special of three courses (Starter, main, tea or coffee) with a glass of wine for €20 so good value too.

Nothing to distinguish this restaurant either way. Good food, well served at a reasonable price. Would certainly go again if in the area.
