Lydia's - Butte

I'm not certain about anything else on the menu, but the chicken dinner, white ravioli, and fries are absolutely amazing. That's all we've ever ordered in 25 years, haha, and we enjoy it every month. Takeout at its finest!

We are originally from Butte and during our last visit, we decided to dine at one of our favorite spots, Lydia's. What a disappointment! Whatever happened to that fantastic Roquefort dressing you used to have? There were nine of us, and the appetizers were so meager that some of us had to go without. The sweet potato salad lacked flavor, the spaghetti was tasteless, the French fries were cold and dry, and the ravioli were dreadful—overcooked and clearly just heated in the microwave. When the shrimp scampi arrived, it was also clearly microwaved (dry and rubbery). The only parts of the meal we enjoyed were the anchovies (which we had to ask for) and the spumoni ice cream. The bartenders were friendly, but they couldn’t get our drinks right. Overall, the entire evening was a disaster! This will be our last visit here!

The sweet potato salad was bland, the spaghetti was overcooked, the French fries were cold and dry, and the ravioli was awful—dry and seemingly cooked in a microwave. When we finally received the shrimp sampi, it was also piping hot from the microwave—dry and chewy. The only redeeming part of the meal was the sardoni. While the bartenders were friendly, they couldn't mix a decent drink. Overall, the whole experience was a disaster! This will be our last visit.
