Suncrest Golf Grille - Butler

Golf course itself is nice and well maintained. Staff at pro shop however was unbelievably rude. Have played here several times before but last time I went the guy told me to leave the course and learn how to book a tee time as they were fully booked. Wouldn't recommend solely based off last interaction.

It was a nice course. Deserves 5 stars but took one away due to the ignorant pin placements for a few of the greens. I felt like they had the PGA tour coming behind us the way the greens were set up. Some of the pins were in the crest of the plateau and a slight miss on a out leaves you chipping again. Aside from that, food was great. Greens were well maintained and played true. Fairways were a nice length and gave just the right amount of roll without being too generous. The rough was rough in some spots. Others were forgiving. I will return.

The course is in good condition, but it's not particularly challenging. There are very few bunkers or water hazards on the course.

The front nine holes are quite forgiving, but as you move onto the back nine, you'll notice that the fairways become increasingly narrow, and some greens are obscured by vegetation. The greens are also relatively fast for early June. Overall, this is an excellent course, and I highly recommend giving it a try.

After a 5-hour round, I found the experience to be quite slow. The ranger was doing his best, but there wasn't much he could do to speed things up today.
