All my life, I longed for a diner positioned in the geographical centre of my buddies' houses.

The last time I had been to George’s Cafe it was just for dessert after the movies. Today we got to have lunch there. I chose the chicken parmigiana with chips and salad (pictured). The serve was generous to say the least. Enough for two people. I loved that it was made with eggplant and the fries were crispy and not oily. I tried my friend’s salmon (pictured) and it was perfectly cooked. The food is in the style of hearty pub food but you are not eating in a pub! #georgescafe

I've been here twice. First time I had hair in my food. I didn't write anything thought of it as a one off. Second time I ordered a dish with allergy requirements. Completely ignored TWICE. They took the dish and gave me a new one with my allergen still present, not sure what they did to it. Food is expensive. Quality of produce low. Staff weren't attentive. These reviews here seem paid if even only a 3/5. No line is a plus given its Burwood's prime area?
