Worst place ever ! Rude staff and too many junkies. Don't ever come here ! I wanted to book for a group of 10 and they wouldn't even tell me drink prices and I had a budget to be under.

Pine inn hotel bistro at the corner of the parra rd/burwood rd was closed for renovations, so came to this in avondale hotel, about hungry jacks / burwood station meal cost $11,80, price rise from the $10 meal years ago. order the pork with diane sauce, take away. the presentation looks sloppy, but the taste was decent, and at a fair price very generous serve, got 3 bucks, chips and salat. to finish the meal! one of the pork chops was thicker and not completely cooked by the meat, closer to the bones still red. but mostly the black chops were well made overall I would eat the meal again. the place is past the bar/pot above...read more

We originally went to the wrong place, as someone we knew gave us wrong location (vip lounge outdoor sign that appeared on another place and also confused us.) had only simple fish and chips. battered fish was crispy generous chips and salat with small smoke of tartaric acid sauce. very great meal. friend had grilled fish (2 big pieces! and third ordered a quite big steak (steak diane I think.) we all agreed eating was delicious, generous for the price (bit over 40 dollars total.) the service was ok. promises reasonably clean, the stairs past pokies (tab section is in the ground floor.) will be back to try something else

Meal costed $11.80, price rise from the $10 meals years ago. Ordered the pork chop with diane sauce, take away. The presentation looks sloppy, but the taste was decent, and at a fair price. Very generous serving, got 3 pork chops, chips and salad. Struggled to finish the meal! One of the pork chops was thicker and not cooked all the way through with the meat closer to the bones still red. But mostly the pork chops were well done. Overall I would eat the meal again. The place is located upstairs past the bar/pokies machines. Would recommend going with others since there are some shady looking people around.
