Bidrage med feedbackThe biscuits were frozen, the yogurt was in single-serving cups, the coffee was bitter, the sausage seemed to be swimming in a dubious maple syrup mix, the eggs were powdered, and the hash browns were practically inedible. The grits were so gummy that it was difficult to remove the spoon from the dish. To top it off, there was no tea. You get the picture—we couldn’t enjoy any of the food available. We ended up going across the street to the Waterway Grill for breakfast instead. This restaurant does offer buffets for lunch and dinner during the weekdays as well as a Sunday buffet. I can’t speak to the quality of those meals, whether the food is made from scratch or pre-packaged. I noticed they posted about a cornbread salad on Facebook, which piqued my interest, and I intend to try the lunch buffet one day just for that. The lunch price is $6.99, and they reopen at 5 PM for a $7.99 buffet offering. Some items on the lunch buffet include Raspberry/Pineapple Glazed Pork Chops, Baked Chicken, Jambalaya, Mashed Potatoes, Lima Beans, Black-eyed Peas, Cornbread, Coleslaw, Cornbread Salad, Potato Salad, Macaroni Salad, Fresh Baked Cookies, Ice Cream, and Chocolate Pudding. Once I do try the lunch buffet, I will update this review to reflect my experience and the quality of the food.
