Bidrage med feedbackThe state park is well maintained and so beautiful! After our hike we decided to eat here. - I know. The waitress was extremely negligent. The food was appalling and clearly heated by a freezer who asked with cheap and disgusting spices. We waited over an hour after sitting before we are good (the restaurant was not even so busy) and only went about 2.5 hours later. I could just cook better than those chefs. Don't waste your time or money here.
Got lunch there, one of us informed the waitress she was gluten-intolerant. The waitress assured us the fries would be fine, later we spent 2 hours on a parking lot with my friend unable to walk and throwing up multiple times. Horrible experience!
While I really wanted to love the restaurant for it?s location and view, we had a very unpleasant experience after our waitress didn?t inform our party of allergy restrictions. While ordering, my friend made it known that she had celiac disease and that anything containing gluten would cause her serious pain and an allergic reaction. She asked for just plain fries after the waitress nodded and said they would be fine for her to eat. Turns out that wasn?t the case, the menu also had no information regarding allergic reactions or informing us which dishes could work for my friend. The food was good, I can?t complain about that but a waitress should be informed about certain dietary restrictions and shouldn?t just assume somethings safe to eat when it potentially could cause a lot of harm. My friend was extremely sick today because of this
Went on a recent Sunday morning, just a light crowd. There was one hostess and one waitress, but they were very nice and kept things going smoothly. The food was good. The view and outdoor patio were wonderful... will be even better as the season gets warmer and prettier.
We actually ate here last night. Our first impression when we walked in was great. The atmosphere was great. Laid back, clean, and beautiful. We only had to wait about 15 minutes on a Saturday night which was great. We were seated and greeted by our server who was great. She brought us water and we ordered some cocktails. It was my birthday and I really wanted the prime rib. The waitress informed me that it had been cooking all day and was medium well to well done which didn?t sound appealing. I got a side salad and It was great. You could tell the ranch was made. We waited a while for our drinks. After asking a couple times the waitress went and made our drinks herself. Our food took forever and they were not very busy. The waitress apologized a few times. Our food finally arrived. I got the ribeye which I ordered medium rare. The steak was seasoned good just over cooked a little which was no big deal. My son got the shrimp and grits. The grits were way over salted and he only ate the shrimp which were good. My wife got the Cajun chicken pasta. The sauce was weird and had an weird flavor I couldn?t figure out. The sausage in the dish was good. The chicken was over cooked and very dry. For a $100 dinner we were not very impressed. I loved the atmosphere so much though I tried to go back and have a drink tonight. Too bad they were closed on Sunday.
