Bidrage med feedbackHad lunch there on our roadtrip. All the food was very tasty and the stuff owner friendly
Friendly staff, chow mein was not exactly what I pictured, very dry.
We ate there while on vacation. The food was extremely greasy, my lo mein noodles were swimming in grease, and it was really expensive.
This restaurant serves traditional Chinese food that's not exactly health-conscious, but it's incredibly tasty! They incorporate a generous amount of fresh vegetables into their dishes, and the staff is friendly with a commitment to preparing food fresh. It's great to have a place where both the food and service are consistently excellent. I've visited several times over the years, and I've always enjoyed the meals here (I suspect their plum sauce for the chicken balls is homemade)! While I typically order the Chinese dishes, their salted squid is among the best I've ever had, and their Western options are quite good too. I especially recommend trying their onion rings.
This restaurant was advertised as serving the best Chinese food in Burns Lake. Although we arrived late and had lowered our expectations, the food was still disappointing—unless this is what they intended, it should never have made its way out of the kitchen. I've had better chow mein from a can. The prawns were over-battered and overcooked, and the sweet and sour dish was quite terrible. On the positive side, the waitress was lovely, the decor is modest, and the place is clean.
