Rosegrove Chippy - Burnley

I called to our dinner last night while we went over the canal. what a jewellery piece. the portions were massive and one of the cheapest chippies I had. the chips and fish were boiled exactly right and the broken blackpudding was delicious. Curry sauce and gravy spot. I just wish all chippies were like that.

Great food, great service run by competent, clean staff and is reasonably priced. There's a little window to preorder fish and you can ring orders through accept Fridays and its COVID safe. It's always busy with repeat customers and locals, which is a very good sign. More importantly the fish is very moist, a good size thats flaky with a good batter. The sausages are quality, they serve Holland pies and the curry is the sweet not too spicy type. There's more on the menu that I haven't tried, so it wouldn't be unfair to comment.... highly recommend.

Great lads nothing to much trouble.order day before and try their scallops. Superb as is every thing we've had to date.
