Hungry Jack's Burgers Burnie

What a shambles it was today. Not enough staff, staff at the front worrying about what was going on around them and not what they should be doing. People waiting way too long with no communication as to why....and so many people returning to get exactly what they ordered ....Crikey!

Nice place to get takeaway some nights and food of an acceptable standard, sometimes… Sometimes chips okay, Sometimes inedible Sometimes nuggets full of flavour, Sometimes terrible tasting Some staff we have been served by and talked to are excellent and full of energy, I will not name names. Others are flat and look like they just got out of bed. I understand that it may be hard to do your job, but it is equally as hard getting served by these sour, flat people who grunt at you and frown the whole time. Smile, it will not kill you. Sometimes, they will forget some of our order, sometimes not. Sometimes, sometimes, it seems KFC Burnie is a half-hearted business where some staff [NOT ALL] are not fully committed to their roles. But to the excellent staff who are doing a terrific job, keep up the good work, you are setting a really good example there.

Drive-thru was overwhelmed...cars lined backed half a block. Inside service was less than ordinary. More a management issue rather than floor staff. Not the first time

Tbh, I thought it’s hard to do wrong in KFC since the company invested millions in simplifying the process so even the most untrained people can produce nice meals to hungry travelers. I was wrong. The good people of Burnie who worked there managed to make KFC categorically worse. I have travelled a bit, from China to 6 years in US and 8 years in AU. This is the worse KFC I have ever had. The wings, the fries….man….they went off their way to make something “special”. The waiting time was the longest I have experienced, and they had MANY people working in there. The job is too hard I guess?

Wow, the chips were inedible because they were too salty. I ordered 6 pieces of chicken. I received two drumsticks which were edible, and four chicken thighs which were so greasy they were thrown in the bin. Surely there's a set selection of pieces when you place an order.
