Taqueria La Fogata - Burney

So good! I love Taqueria La Fogata everything I have had there is very delicious. I am a big fan of the ceviche and the lamb. Really though you can't go wrong. Be sure to stop in and enjoy!

Let me start off by saying the food was terrible. Taco Bell is better than the food here. And since the they didn't update the online prices it was way more expensive than Taco Bell. The restaurant workers wrote my order down wrong and then tried to tell me that isn't what I said when there were at least 3 other witnesses telling them exactly what I had said. Then they said that they will remake the food but that all other order will be a priority and mine would go last. I told them I had been waiting for 90 minutes already even though they told us the food would be ready in 30-40 minutes. When other interviewed and told them they were in the wrong they finally decided to make my food first. The food ended up being horrible and it will never be coming back here again. You can get more authentic food at Taco Bell if Mexican food is what you are craving. Hopefully this help someone in the future. I wish I was warned prior.

In my 20 years of life this was the worse food experience I ever had. First of all they have not updated their prices online so when we paid we were charged double what we were expected. Secondly we were told our food would be ready in 35 minutes. We came back 40 minutes later and did not get our food until an hour and a half later. After receiving the food they messed up my sisters order and had to remake it. We had 4 people hear my sister tell the manager she said no vegetables, but he kept insisting she said no lettuce. He told us he had a great attention to detail but he was obviously wrong when 4 people heard him make a mistake.My whole life my sister always ordered everything with no vegetables, plus I was there when she ordered so I knew he was wrong. After waiting ridiculously long for or food , and getting ridiculously overcharged the food has no flavor. It was extremely bland. Not real Mexican food. We were all incredibly disappointed. I'm from the Bay Area and there are many amazing authentic Mexican places I have ate over there, I've even visited Mexico and had food from there ,this food was literal garbage compared to all the other Mexican food I've ate. You could get a better meal at Taco Bell .PLEASE do not make the same mistake we did by spending our money here !

Great place for yummy Mexican food and $5 margaritas. Sat outside. Nice find in Burney.
