Villa Bistro - Burnaby

Tonight, my wife and I made a reservation for dinner at 6:00 p.m. We decided to order a bottle of Louis Martin Cabernet Sauvignon, along with crab cakes and mussels/clams for appetizers. My wife ordered a 12-ounce filet, while I chose the halibut. We also shared the brie mashed potatoes and a seafood tower, which were unbelievably delicious. The most amazing part of the meal was the service from Henry, who provided perfect attention and there was also a pianist playing our favorite classics. The creme brulee was the perfect ending to the meal. Overall, we would rate our experience 11 out of 10 for the top-notch food and service.

Our recent dinner at Atlas was a pleasant surprise. I have attended a few work events here over the years, but this was my first time dining in. I was really impressed by the service - the staff were personable, friendly, and attentive. The food also exceeded my expectations. I started with the humble house salad, which was incredibly flavorful. The tuna main dish that followed was outstanding. The live music added to the great atmosphere, making for a very enjoyable dining experience. Overall, Atlas did a fantastic job and I would highly recommend it, even though it is located in a hotel. Well done, team Atlas!

My son recently got married, and after the ceremony, we had dinner at Atlas Steak + Fish in Burnaby. We reserved the private room in the back for our party of about 24 people, including some young children. Manny, Caroline, and Dariana, our servers, were absolutely wonderful. They went above and beyond to make our special occasion even more memorable. Their patience with the children was commendable, and the service we received was truly exceptional. I can't praise the staff at this restaurant enough. They catered to our every request with a smile and made sure we felt welcome and taken care of. The level of service we experienced exceeded all of my expectations. Thank you. Thank you.

I was in the delta and went a few times after atlas. eating was just delicious. the wild mushrooms were amazing, lamb, although a larger part could be very good and tender. I also had the laugh that was cooked right. they have most of their dishes with a warm potato salad that is not super creatiw, making them money on the side that are worth as they are good. I wish they could be included in the price and in the main dish. overall very good.

My hubby and I rarely have a chance to go out together as he works out of town and is only back 1 week per month. So we try to have 1 date night a month which we both look forward to but due to the pandemic we haven’t been able to enjoy our ritual for quite some time ... The few occasions we managed to go out for a date night dinner since last year have all been disappointing with food and service especially as my hubby is a red seal chef and Prev owned a restaurant so we are both quite picky ... On his last visit we decided to try going out for dinner date downtown and made reservations at a well recommended French establishment.. At the last minute I suggested changing to Atlas as we had such a great time when we went previously. I definitely made the right choice !! We requested Marina’s section as she is one of the most professional, knowledgeable and friendly servers we have ever had ! She made 5 star recommendations for both food and drinks which caused me to replace My long standing fav wine. Our meal thanks to Marina was outstanding and even met with the chef hubby’s full approval !!! We had the most amazing time and left with plans to make Atlas our regular monthly date night spot just as long as Marina is our server !! I’ve even planned out my dinner choices for the next 3 visits !! For 5 diamond food and service Atlas is number 1 and has beat out all of the high end establishments downtown Vancouver !! Just remember When you go to atlas Make sure to request Marinas section!!
