The Viet Noodle Guy kicks that trend and seems to be doing quite well at it. The interior of this Vietnamese restaurant is very bright and airy owing to the large windows that fronts onto Rosser Avenue and the high ceilings. My first encounter with this restaurant was actually for take-out as we noticed the restaurant while we were dining across the street. Intrigued, we decided to get some Chicken Wings $6.50) with a lemon pepper sauce to-go. The chicken wings were okay but nothing very memorable besides the coating being a bit too thick for my liking.
The Viet Noodle Guy has been on my radar for about a month now. It is a new Vietnamese restaurant that opened up by Brentwood, in the same complex as Brown’s Social House and across from Madison Center. They had nice, matching decor going on and there was also a small balcony upstairs where they make their banh mi. We were wondering whether or not customers were able to walk upstairs and order banh mi, or was it for takeout customers?
We’ve been meaning to try this for a long time now and finally we did! True to the hype, the food was really good and priced reasonably well. I really loved my Viet iced coffee! Legit!??
Usually most Vietnamese restaurants taste very similar to me, especially their pho. What sets this restaurant apart are the soup which was flavourful and didn't taste full of MSG, the noodles which are chewy but firm, and they provide each person with a separate sauce dish for the hoisin sauce and sriracha. The portions are massive for the price you pay as well. Their regular sized pho is similar to a large at other places. The restaurant is spacious and the staff were friendly.
One of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Vancouver! This place is around the Brentwood area, where not many Vietnamese places around. If you go during lunch or dinner time, you might have to line up as they are popular.Their pho was great, but their spring roll was beyond my expectations!Orders came quickly, and servers were super accessible. If you are craving some pho around here, you should come here! They close little earlier than other restaurants, so keep that in mind.Vegetarian options: Some vegetarian options available.Kid-friendliness: Kids friendly.Parking: Next to the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible.
