I took my wife here for her birthday last year. We had dinner on the patio. With a beautiful wedding taking place on the lawn. The service was superb, despite a full event going on at the same time as well as a birthday inside. The food was like a work of art, yet was more than enough to satisfy us. The dessert they brought out for her birthday was beautiful.

A last minute decision to spend some time at Deer Lake Park resulted in a lovely lunch on the patio of the Hart House Restaurant. We were welcomed to this vintage home, which has been converted to a delightful restaurant with old world charm. The staff was friendly and accommodating, & the food was tasty & portioned generously. I would definitely recommend this venue for a place to getaway & enjoy the feeling of being in England or Europe, if only for an hour or two.

The photos looked great with regard to this historic restaurant, but very deceiving indeed. On arrival we couldn't help notice the poor condition of the landscaping. A lot of dead and dying plants. The portions were very small and service was next to none. Prices were high. No value here. Wasted dinner but good company with friends.
