Bidrage med feedbackI remember coming here awhile back and I didn't think much of their dessert. But I came back recently and actually really enjoyed it! It wasn't busy at all when I went.<br/ <br/ The way it works here is you order and pay first. Then they'll give you a number to place at your table and they'll bring it out when it's ready. They have water up by the front that you can help yourself too. My friend and I shared a strawberry bingsu. Presentation was nice and I really liked their gold spoons. The portion was pretty good and it tasted fresh. The strawberries were a little tart but it worked with everything else because it was sweet. I would definitely come back to try more flavours.
Korean style shaved ice was the dessert trend of 2016, and it continues into the beginning of 2017, even despite the snow and cold Vancouverites saw. There are actually two new Korean shaved ice restaurants that have open across the street from Metrotown Mall this year. This just so happens to be the one we past by first.
I love bingsu. This place has amazing shaved ice deserts but it's a bit on the pricey side. On the bright side, the portions are huge. I personally enjoy the mango and honeydew bingsu.
This is a good place for cold shaved ice desserts. Desserts are not that too sweet. It's just perfect! Service was good, small place to hang out.
Super delicious snowy dessert and lava bread! We ordered the melon shaved ice which was so sweet and fresh. The melons were in season and ripe (lucky us! , So it went so well with the ice. The ice part was creamy, but not overly so. Also not overly sweet, which was good because the melon was already so so sweet. <br/ <br/ We also ordered the chocolate lava toast which I loved!! It was crunchy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. The chocolate reminded me of Nutella actually, which was delicious. Unfortunately it is a big big portion so by the time we finished it, the bread had gotten soggy; still tasty though! <br/ <br/ Service didn't take very long and the people were friendly enough.
