Shanghai Dimsum House - Burnaby

Came here on a week night and it was packed! Make sure to get a reservation if you want to dine here!! I've been here many times now with my family and they never disappoint! The service is great! Friendly and attentive staff. The food is consistently delicious. The dumplings and buns were sooo juicy and with plenty of meat fillings. The chicken dumpling soup is really flavorful and we order it every time we eat here. Another must have is the smoked duck! It sells out all the time so you might have to preorder or go early (before 7pm)!

Came here for lunch and was pleasantly surprised! They’re located within Crystal Mall so it’s easy to get to via skytrain and bus. I went during non-peak hours so their service was quite fast. I ordered their Xiao Long Bao, Peking Duck, and Pan Fried Pork Buns. Overall, quality was fantastic. The XLB, unfortunately, was too sticky and easily tore apart when picked up. Other than that, all the flavors were on point. The skin of the Peking duck was crispy and the meat was tender. One of the best restaurants located in the area.

Pretty good food, good selection. Service swings better good and mediocre. Their xiao long bao is quite good and fresh. They also had this one clear dessert soup that was really tasty not too sweet and finished the meal perfectly.

They have the best oyster sauce beef and water-boiled fish(with sizing chili oil) that I have ever tried in Vancouver.

Great place with delicious food! Was in Vancouver for about a week and this was right next to my hotel. The XiaoLongBao and duck were very good!
