Bidrage med feedbackA delicious and filling option at NY Fries is their poutine hot dog drink combo. For around $11, you can enjoy a satisfying meal. The lines are typically shorter here compared to other options in the food court, like Tim Hortons and Subway. Plus, you have the freedom to customize your hot dog at the self-serve station.
I would choose fries over friends any day. When was the last time fries disappointed you? (Other than when they are limp and sad looking, just kidding. My friends are great). It has been ages since I last had New York fries. They were a childhood favorite of mine. I always go for the large or extra large size, nothing else will do! Fresh, thick, and full of potato flavor, in my opinion, these are one of the best things you can get in a food court. I love that they leave the skins on! These fries are so flavorful you don't even need ketchup.
If you ever find yourself in a mall food court in the Lower Mainland, New York Fries is a reliable choice for poutine. Despite its name, New York Fries can be found in malls across the area, not in New York City. The poutine here is simple and satisfying, perfect for when you're craving comfort food. I would give it a 3 out of 5 stars. The portion size was adequate for me. Personally, I'm not a big fan of their fries as I find them a bit soggy, even without the gravy. However, I do appreciate that they leave the potato skins on, giving the edges a crispy texture. The gravy is on the salty side and a bit watery. The cheese curds are standard, with a chewy and moist texture. Overall, it's not a bad option, but I still prefer Costco's poutine over New York Fries.
Either my tastes have changed or this company cuts to the amount of product they serve. Poutine is a great Canadian treat of freshly cut French fries with skins.... Kurds od Mozarella cheese,... with rich brown beef pebbles poured over them so that the cheese melts. The cheese must melt!!!! This is the whole poutine experience, the melting of the cheese, so it's strict and messy when you eat it. They didn't cut it. It's almost as if they were too big for their bridges, or as I mentioned earlier, they're cut back to the amount of the product they use. I went back and asked for something extra gravel, but it did not melt the cheese. Not hot enough. This was something special to eat (a treat) at the dining area. Very Canadian. They dropped the ball. I'm making Poutine better at home. Very disappointing.
What can be more canadian on a cold wintry day than eating poutine?__I was craving this and finally satisfied it with a classic poutine from NYF.
