Bidrage med feedbackI tried the cheese hamburger steak ($13.99), which included two generous portions of hamburger steak topped with cheese, served with rice, macaroni salad, corn, crispy cabbage, pickled radishes, and gravy. The Hamburg steaks were satisfyingly filling, though slightly dry in the center (easily remedied with a bit of gravy). I enjoyed the cheesy pull on the hamburger, but I would have preferred the cheese inside the patty. On a later visit, I noticed the restaurant was much busier during lunch hours. I appreciate that Dae-Ji allows for customization of orders, so this time I opted for Combo A ($15.99) which included a Mushroom Hamburger Steak and a shrimp and cheese Pork Cutlet with chili sauce, along with the usual sides. Dae-Ji excels at their deep-fried cutlets and Hamburg steaks. The Mushroom Hamburger Steak was thick, juicy, almost like a large meatball, and tender, topped with melted cheese. The Pork Cutlet had a satisfying kick from Jalapeño slices in the chili sauce. Overall, I prefer Combo A for the variety of options it offers. The food is served promptly, though there may be delays during busy times. Dae-Ji sticks to what they do best - deep-fried cutlets and Hamburg steaks, making it a reliable spot for a satisfying Korean meal.
We frequently eat Korean food, as well as fast food, but this was the worst meal I have ever had. The rice appeared to have been cooked a week ago and was truly revolting. Four of us ordered different dishes and every single one was awful. We waited over 45 minutes for our food and they even mixed up our orders. Stay away from this place!
I came to this restaurant with a friend spontaneously and found the staff to be very friendly. We arrived at an odd time, 3 p.m. The portions were smaller than we anticipated, and the food did not quite match up to some other restaurants in the area in terms of taste.
While we recently enjoy a mini trip and stay in this neighborhood, we chose Dae Ji for lunch one day. When I was on a walk the day before, I had the opportunity to fall into the restaurant to take a look, catch a menu and have a short chat with the young woman in the money. I liked what I saw and how I was treated. We arrived at the restaurant a few minutes before the open sign was illuminated (at 11:30am), and the door opened, and were their first (site in) customers of the day. The restaurant looks quite small from outside, but is actually quite large inside with about 10 tables for four, and a few other tables for two that are all not fixed, so you can be moved to decorate larger seats, etc. Clean, tidy and neat, with pictures of the different menu elements the walls. Once sitting, with menus and cups of hot tea on our table, we have made our selection, and then our choices a little with the help of our server when it returns to take our orders. It was a pig fillet dinner for her, a chicken fillet dinner for me came with a shredded green salad, macaroni corn and rice. The portions were very well dimensioned (the pig dinner two, large and thick slices, with a engraving/ sauce, the chicken dinner three, smaller slices, with tartaric acid sauce on the side), well prepared (crispy coating on the outside, delicate, damp meat on the inside) altogether, very delicious meals. We couldn't finish everything, and brought some remnants back to our hotel that were enjoyed (so much) later this day. We enjoyed our lunch and dining experience in Dae Ji. Good food and service... we're back!
Though known for their cutlets, the star of the night for me was the boneless deep fried chicken.
