Cafeoca Brazilian Bistro - Burnaby

I usually love this place but today my experience wasn’t the best.They were only accepting debit/credit and their machine wasn’t working so I had to send them an e-transfer.Plus, my friend order an drink and they didn’t add to her bill and she didn’t notice until she had sent the e-transfer.Also, I ordered a combo and they didn’t pack my brigadeiro :/No apologies were made really.Costumer service needs to be better!

This is my favorite café in town. The Brazilian food is amazing and the cakes are absolutely delicious! It's my go-to spot on a chilly day.

Ordered via Skip: Empadão (chicken pie) $9.50 Coxinha (Chicken), Empadinha (Hearts of Palm), and Brigadeiro $10.99 Shrimp Empadinha $4.75Split everything between two people and we had half a Coxinha left over.The Empadão was great. I love cheese, but it might be too much cheese if I ate the whole thing.The Coxinha was disappointing. The filling seems to be the same as the Empadão, but it was drier.The Empadinhas were okay. This is an excellent place for those who are missing home (Brazil) and want to try something new. The prices are very good for Metro Vancouver. They offer a variety of snacks, Brazilian fruit juices, coffee options, and Feijoada (Brazilian beans and meat stew) for weekend lunch.
